For over 100 years, the fashion house “PKZ MEN” at Bahnhofsplatz 1 has been the top address for exclusive men’s fashion in Bern. The flagship was lavishly renovated by Interstore and Schweitzer Project in cooperation with Oktalite and, with a basement floor, gained sales space. Additional shops-in-shop like that of Marc O’Polo were added. The modern, linear ambiance for casual and leisure fashion is well received by the male clients. Also contributing to this is the functional and aesthetic LED lighting concept from Oktalite.
The modular SISTEMA ceiling recessing system provides clear ambient and accentuated lighting – the ideal support for the striking store design. An optimum solution also in the open ceiling area: here the ceiling-forming element SYSTEM 190 picks up on the architecture as a rectangle and, in that way, gives the room more structure.
