In 2014 the ‘Intersport Leffers’ sports store covering an area of 1,200 square metres opened in Wilhelmshaven. The store belongs to the traditional department store ‘Leffers’ that has been supplying fashion for over 100 years. In order to set the scene for the new range, black ceilings and black product carriers were relied upon. It is also with strong accents that the lighting concept from VEDDER.LICHTMANAGEMENT works. For the choice of the luminaire supplier, Oktalite was able to score with regard to the lighting pattern, efficiency (total consumption: 18.6 W/m²), light colour temperature and colour rendition are convincing.
In addition, Oktalite was able to equip not only the sales areas in the sports store, but also the ladies’ outerwear premium department in the main store and, by means of the close cooperation with its parent group Trilux, also the office and administration premises. In the sales room, the track-mounted spotlight FANO 3,000 K ensures a noble and modern atmosphere. The swimwear fashion and changing area has a more intimate atmosphere with FANO 2,700 K as the warm light flatters the skin and hence provides a feel-good atmosphere. In the shop window the spotlight was mounted on tracks which run both along the ceiling and along the floor. In that way an unusual, theatre-type lighting effect is obtained.
