At the “Rhein Center” in Cologne-Weiden, GERRY WEBER with the “HOUSE of GERRY WEBER“ implemented one of the first stores with the new shop-fitting concept for which a matching LED lighting concept was prepared. For the planning of the lighting design a decision was made in favour of Oktalite Lichttechnik. In the salesroom the recessed luminaire QUIRA with 3,000 lumens and 3,000 Kelvins provides a sales-promoting lighting atmosphere. In the fitting rooms the same spotlight is used, but with 2,000 lumens and 3,000 Kelvins. The lower illuminance produces a pleasant, feel-good atmosphere.
A flowing transition from the mall area to the “HOUSE of GERRY WEBER” warmly wel-comes all of the customers. The open shop-fitting concept is supported by the light-ing: in that way, the goods are themselves illuminated with exciting accents and at-tract the customers’ attention already from far away. Thanks to ultramodern LED technology the colours of the collections come clearly and brightly into their own. Further stores, for example in France, Poland, Rumania, Norway, Belgium, the Netherlands or Switzerland have already adopted the concept.
