The fashion house Hämmerle presents itself over an area of 2,500 square metres in Mariahilfer Straße – Vienna’s main shopping street. The venerable building makes a lordly impression, with elegant rest areas and its own garden. An imposing staircase leads to various mezzanines which are occupied by noble brands. In order to cut energy costs in the building full of nooks and crannies, the lighting system was changed over to modern LED technology. In total energy costs were reduced by 37 percent.
Now the LED luminaires TARO MINI, CARDAN SOLO and SISTEMA are used, each equipped with the “Best Colour” LED module from Oktalite. Thanks to the outstanding lighting quality and the particularly good colour rendering index (CRI) of 95 the fashion house looks as if it has been freshly renovated. Photos: Christoph Meinschäfer
